Frank achieved his CITP certification in 2021 and the IP certification in 2018 to fully understand the incentive market and understand his clients needs. Frank has held a board role as VP of Communications and Marketing from January of 2020 – December 2022 and is now President Elect for 2024 for SITE Florida & Caribbean which he is very excited to give back to this organization. Frank also sits on the board for an organization near and dear to his heart which is Magic Waste Youth Foundation which promote the development of young men and women emerging from the foster care system in South Florida into their full potential by providing the essential tools they need to thrive: life and work skills, housing, education, nutrition, healthcare, and more.

Mauricio Patino

U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism

Mauricio Patino has over two decades of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Early
in his career at the Sheraton Manhattan and later, the Sheraton New York, he quickly climbed
the Sales & Marketing and Operations Management ranks. For several years, he worked across many of the Starwood
Hotels & Resorts brands including Sheraton, Westin, and the W Hotels, and other brands such
as Dolce Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
In 2016, Patino started his hospitality consulting business, Advanced Hotel & Hospitality
Resources, LLC (AHHR). His company has been contracted by a diverse number of hospitality
organizations as well as federal and local government agencies including the United States
Department of the Army, the United States Virgin Islands Department of Tourism (USVI), tour
companies in Europe and global hospitality corporations. A fluent Spanish speaker, he has also
worked on tourism industry projects in cities across South America.
“AHHR was created with the sole purpose to serve with a hospitality mindset. To serve this
way, fundamentals like Culture, Service, Education and Community are key.” says Mauricio
Patino.

A seasoned consultant, Ellie demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of business travel. She tailors her services to your needs, offering a comprehensive suite of meeting planning capabilities, including site selection, contract negotiation, program coordination, and meticulous pre & post follow-up. Additionally, her incentive trips are coordinated to perfection, orchestrating air/hotel arrangements, tours, activities, entertainment, and events with precision. 
 
Ellie's expertise doesn't stop there. She brings your brand to life from project inception to completion, dedicating herself to your unique vision. With over two decades of industry experience, she has an instinctive grasp on the pulse of event planning and branding, positioning her clients for success. 
 
Born in the warmth of Jamaica, raised in Rochester, NY, and having resided in cosmopolitan cities like Dubai and Hong Kong, Ellie now calls sunny Florida home. Her global upbringing has enriched her perspective, allowing her to provide a unique, cultured approach to her work.
 
Ellie started her illustrious career at Inc Magazine after majoring in accounting and criminal justice. At Inc, she developed and oversaw a pioneering program that included CEO symposiums, employee conferences, and customer loyalty conferences. Her entrepreneurial spirit eventually led her to create Incentive Meeting Services, a venture she's led to great success. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of Vice President/Membership for SITE Florida & Caribbean.
 
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ellie is a committed family woman and an avid traveler. She cherishes her leisure time, often spent with loved ones, exploring new destinations, or engaged in a captivating game. Ellie Soucy is more than a corporate event and travel expert; she's a visionary who bridges cultures, people, and brands with strategic planning and heart.

Millie has been a SITE member since the late 70’s, and was provided with education and networking opportunities that helped her business grow. She was active in Global on several committees and served as Crystal Awards Chairman as well as won an award. She was the special Advisory Committee and chaired The Signet Awards event in Stockholm celebrating 25 years of Incentive Travel. Since moving to Florida from Kansas City, she has been involved with the SITE Chapter Board as Secretary, VP Membership and Treasurer. She has seen SITE Florida & Caribbean Chapter grow with dedicated professionals interested in contributing and learning to better the industry and community.

Napier’s management philosophy allows those team members to show case their creativity while embracing the four core principles of Time, Space, Love and Generosity. Napier has earned multiple degrees including an M.B.A. from ASU in International Management, and B.B.A. from the University of Miami. Beyond studying abroad in Asia, and an intern for Senator John McCain(R) in Arizona, Napier owes his belief in training to his mom, a retired teacher and example of always striving for more. Napier considers himself a global nomad and a local foodie, steward of the environment, and benefactor to those furry pets needing a voice. Personal interests include college football and cooking for his teams whenever there is a need to celebrate!

Malely is part of the Hilton International Sales Team; in her global role she supports Hilton’s International Portfolio and advocates US customers in finding the perfect Hilton Hotel outside the United States. Malely is really excited about the networking opportunities and the educational development that SITE provides. Being in South Florida and so close to the Caribbean she knows our chapter has incredible professionals, many of whom she has had the pleasure of working with and looks forward to meeting other SITE members.

Steffi Kordy

Cocoon Incentives LLC (DMC & Incentive Agency)

Steffi Kordy is the owner of Cocoon Incentives LLC, a creative Incentive House and Destination Management Company based in Miami. She founded the company with the tagline “Think Outside your Cocoon” in 2011 after moving to Florida from Chicago, where she worked for a DMC for several years.

Originally from Germany, she has lived and worked in the hospitality industry on six continents and speaks five languages. She has written several books on travel, culture and trends, and is a contributor to magazines and newspapers. She holds a master’s degree in cultural anthropology, African languages and linguistics.

She also has a "green heart" and is passionate about corporate social responsibility. When she founded her company, sustainable practices were at its core. As such Cocoon Incentives donates parts of its profits from each incentive program to non-profit organizations to leave a positive footprint in the community that was the backdrop of the event. She feels blessed to work amongst the top performers as clients and hand-in-hand with the best hospitality suppliers, but also believes that if CSR is done right, it’s a win-win for everybody involved!

Steffi is the mom of two teenage boys, and when not working enjoys outdoor activities from tennis to biking and hiking.

and managing new business operations and driving established
corporate divisions to record levels of success. Extensive experience in
leading companies through startup, turnaround and growth modes,
consistently producing results that surpass corporate revenue and profit
objectives. Develop and manage top-caliber teams capable of taking
operations to the next level of success. Establish cohesive vision,
direction and branding to capture competitive target markets. Achieved
national recognition for the Blue Shark property known as “One of the
Top Golf Courses in the Caribbean.”
Currently the Senior Director, Business Development Lamont
Associates. Prior to joining Lamont Associates, Jones held
executive/senior positions at Henderson Beach Resort, Renaissance,
World Golf Village, Lajitas Golf Resort, Convention Planning Services,
Tradewinds Island Resort, Laquinta Resort and Club, Meadowbrook Golf
Group, Blue Shark Golf Course, Championsgate Golf Course, the
Kissimmee-St. Cloud Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Linkscorp, Inc
Rymark and Suncoast Destination Management, where she was
responsible for all Marketing and Sales efforts.
Jones began her career with Educational Field Studies, Inc., an
educational workshop development and marketing company, where held
the position of General Manager and ultimately Executive Vice
President.
Jones is a certified meeting planner with formal training in hotel
management, accounting, front desk operations and food & beverage
management.

She currently serves as incoming President for Site Southeast
(President 2020). Has served as President of Site Florida in 2008, is a
member of Meeting Planners International, where she has chaired
several committees, as well as the Central Florida Convention Services
Association, the National Association of Golf Tournament Directors,
Meetings Industry Ladies Organization and Hospitality Sales and
Marketing Association International.

It was there I began learning to organize events involving large groups, to meticulously plan right down to the smallest detail, and quickly resolve difficult situations that may arise.

As an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry, I have worked in Hospitality for over 30 years, planning and executing events of all types and sizes. Most of my career has been in leadership as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Westin San Diego.  I was then recruited to lead the opening of the InterContinental San Diego.

After a successful opening, I decided that I needed a change and quickly found a home with Maritz Global Events.  It has been a blessed 2nd career and has allowed me to use my skills assisting clients to plan, execute and mitigate my client’s meetings and events.
